Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling the company’s cost-related activities. This role ensures accurate cost allocation, prepares cost reports, and supports budgeting and forecasting processes. The position works closely with the accounting and operations teams to validate production costs, review variances, and maintain updated cost data.

The Cost Accounting Officer is responsible for overseeing and analyzing all cost-related activities to support accurate financial reporting and efficient operational decision-making. This role reviews and updates standard costs, monitors material, labor, and overhead expenses, and analyzes cost variances. The officer prepares cost reports, supports budgeting and forecasting, and ensures proper cost allocation across departments. They coordinate with production, purchasing, and accounting teams to validate cost data and maintain accurate inventory records.

Conduct shelf-life studies and determine the optimized shelf-life of all BSFIL raw materials and finished goods. Determine and measure the critical parameters that may affect the deterioration of the products. Establish a quantifiable limit on the critical parameters of whether the product will still be acceptable. Establish standardized processes for the study and testing of the critical parameters. Research and study on how to boost or extend the shelf-life of all BSFIL raw materials and finished goods. Facilitate the enhancement of the sensory evaluation capabilities of sensory panelists. Classify odor and perform studies on odor cross-contamination between all BSFIL raw materials and finished goods that will help establish storage conditions, production planning, and delivery planning.

Innovate, develop, research and design products according to market requirements with competitive price. Design processes that are production-friendly, converting the prototype laboratory samples to production batch and able to modify them when needed. Establish standardized processes and instructions for production use. Conducts research on various functional ingredients and assess them for possible cost reduction and product improvement applications.

Conduct of Physico-Chemical Analyses Compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points, Quality Management System, and ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System.

Develop and introduce new products that confirm to the customers’ specifications/requirements in compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements on safety and quality, and in accordance with the company’s standards, goals and vision. Carrying out of researches to improve current products.

Accountable and responsible for the execution and delivery of customer sales order based on delivery route and schedule, cut-off times, and accurate documentation as per company set procedures and guidelines on delivery, GMP, safety policies, etc.

Responsible in warehouse transactions such as transfer , issuance, pick up, receipts preparation, encoding and execution. Ensures accuracy of transactions actual system. Monitor proper stocking of inventories and ensure proper housekeeping.

Develop, document, update and implement quality and food safety management systems in the organization. Review and improve documentation requirements in compliance to current GMP, HACCP and FSMS. Conduct physico-chemical analyses of raw materials and finished goods. Assure accuracy and complete recording of data in the QC file server. Recommend quality improvements to current procedures or work processes. Verify calibration of laboratory monitoring and measuring equipment.

Supervise and lead a team of technician and engineering staff, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure effective teamwork and high performance in doing the Preventive Maintenance and projects. Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams in troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on complex engineering problems. Collaborate with other departments, such as production, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with overall plant operations.

Responsible for planning work orders, repairs, servicing and efficient functioning of all machinery and equipment inside the plant. Prepare technical documentations that will support the crew in performing their duties. This includes drawings, diagrams, PID and flow charts. Provide a complete record of machine repair history for analysis. Identifying, ordering and tracking materials / parts / equipment requirements of planned work.
